How it Works

To Start… 

Talk- I will set up a date to meet with you at your home or speak over the phone. During our meeting, we’ll discuss all of your personal chef needs. We’ll talk about your tastes, your kitchen, and get to know one another. Before our talk, I kindly ask that you fill out a client questionnaire, so that I may prepare a sample menu for you to review. Should you decide to move forward with the services, we will choose a cook date. A $100 deposit for groceries and 50% of the service fee will be due at this time.

Plan- Once your cook date has been established, I will send you a customized menu. The menu must be finalized and approved by you via email within 48 hours of your cook date. I welcome your suggestions, and any changes or additions you may want. Your satisfaction is of utmost importance!

Cook- On your cook date, I will shop for the freshest ingredients available to prepare your meals. Directly from shopping, I will arrive at your home to prepare your meals according to your tastes and specifications. I will bring any extra equipment or tools necessary to prepare your food in your home.

Store- After I finish cooking, all food will be stored in containers that you provide, or containers will be purchased for you.  All meals are labeled and any reheating instructions will also be listed. You are left with a full fridge, a clean kitchen, and the aroma of delicious food! Remaining payment for services, and groceries will be due on your cook date.


Appointment Confirmation- I will confirm your cook date one week prior.

Payment- After the initial cook date, the total service fee will be due upon confirmation of your next cook date. Grocery reimbursement will be due on your cook date.

Cancellation- Your cook date is reserved exclusively for you. To avoid a cancellation fee, please notify Chef Jess that you want to cancel at least a week/7 days prior to your cook date. Without 7 days notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service fee will be charged.
